Since its introduction in late 2022, the sixth-generation Honda CR-V has become a favorite among commuters and adventurers due to its numerous features that enhance driving comfort and convenience.
For the 2025 model year, Honda hasn’t made many changes to the CR-V. It still features the same design, features, and equipment as the previous model year. However, there is a slight change in the choice of exterior paint colors.
You can choose from 8 attractive colors to make your CR-V stand out:
- Canyon River Blue Metallic
- Crystal Black Pearl
- Solar Silver Metallic
- Meteorite Gray Metallic
- Urban Gray Pearl (+$455)
- Platinum White Pearl (+$455)
- Radiant Red Metallic (+$455)
- Still Night Pearl (+$455)
Keep reading because, In this article, I will go into more detail about the available colors, including any new additions and those that have been discontinued.
Canyon River Blue Metallic
Canyon River Blue Metallic is a deep, glossy blue paint that shifts depending on the lighting. In bright light, it can appear gray, similar to Meteorite Gray Metallic or Urban Gray Metallic.
As a new color option, Canyon River Blue quickly becomes a favorite among potential CR-V buyers, alongside Meteorite and Radiant Red. However, some have noted that the chrome accents on certain parts would look better with black accents, like those on the grille.
If you choose Canyon River Blue, the interior color is limited to black, available in leather or cloth, depending on the trim you select. Personally, I think this combination is stunning, as the black interior complements the Canyon River Blue Metallic perfectly. However, some prefer a gray interior, which, unfortunately, is not an option with this exterior color.
With the black accents on the grille and the 19-inch alloy wheels, Canyon River Blue Metallic makes your CR-V look dashing and stand out in any parking lot.

Also known as anthracite or gunmetal, this color is perfect for highlighting the SUV’s rugged shape and muscular stance. The black accents on the wheels and grille enhance its impressive look.
Honda classifies Urban Gray Pearl as a premium color, which means an additional cost. For the 2024 CR-V model, this color is priced at $455.
Urban Gray Pearl is an excellent choice for you if you prefer a muted yet powerful and rugged appearance for your CR-V.

Available across all trim levels, Crystal Black Pearl is a versatile choice, though it may not be as flattering on the Sport Touring Hybrid due to the chrome accents on the front. This color would look exceptional if paired with all-black features, including the alloy wheels.
Black is always a safe and stylish choice, especially for an SUV. If you’re looking for a dependable color for your Honda CR-V, Crystal Black Pearl is a great option that won’t disappoint.

Solar Silver Metallic is a new color introduced by Honda for the 2025 CR-V model year. Although relatively unfamiliar due to its recent debut, it replaces the well-known Lunar Silver Metallic, which has been available on Honda vehicles for several years.
While Solar Silver Metallic looks similar to Lunar Silver Metallic at first glance, placing them side by side reveals the difference. Solar Silver Metallic is noticeably brighter than Lunar Silver Metallic, offering a distinct shine.
Solar Silver Metallic is very shiny in bright sunlight, making the silver color stand out clearly. However, the color takes on a darker hue in darker areas or shadows, almost resembling a metallic gray.

Meteorite Gray Metallic
Meteorite Gray Metallic is a standout gray color option for the Honda CR-V, offering more depth than a typical gray. Unlike Urban Gray Pearl, Meteorite Gray Metallic is darker and changes subtly with varying light conditions.
This versatile color shifts from dark gray to greenish-gray or slate-gray blue, depending on the sunlight, cloudy skies, or evening light.
Meteorite Gray Metallic is one of the most preferred and popular colors for the Honda CR-V. Its demand is so high that some buyers report pre-ordering and waiting up to five months for a CR-V in this color.
Available on all trim levels, Meteorite Gray Metallic doesn’t come with an additional cost, as it is not categorized as a premium color.

Platinum White Pearl
Platinum White Pearl is a classy true white paint with a super glossy finish.
What sets it apart from regular white is the abundance of metallic pearl flakes that Honda has added, creating a shimmering effect in bright light and shadows. Up close, the sparkling pearl flakes are especially noticeable.
Available on all trim levels, Platinum White Pearl looks particularly striking on the Sport Hybrid or Sport-L Hybrid models, thanks to its excellent combination with black wheels. However, it’s important to note that Platinum White Pearl is a premium color, costing an additional $455.

Radiant Red Metallic
Radiant Red Metallic is one of the few bright colors available for the 6th-generation Honda CR-V. Alongside Still Night Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic stands out as one of the only vibrant options for the 2025 model year, making it a popular choice among prospective buyers.
While the 2025 Honda CR-V color options are predominantly subdued, Radiant Red provides a striking alternative for those who prefer a bolder look.
Available on all trim levels, Radiant Red Metallic pairs especially well with the black alloy wheels on the hybrid model.
For an even bolder appearance, consider chrome-deleting some parts, such as the window trim and front bumper (Sport Touring only). Replacing the chrome with black will enhance the boldness of your Honda CR-V in Radiant Red Metallic.

Still Night Pearl
Contrary to its name, Still Night Pearl is a bright blue with a glossy finish. While it may not be as flashy as Radiant Red Metallic, its striking blue hue ensures the CR-V stands out in the crowd.
Still Night Pearl is a bold and fun choice. While not everyone prefers a blue car, if you enjoy driving an eye-catching yet elegant vehicle, Still Night Pearl is an excellent option for your Honda CR-V.
Although Still Night Pearl is available on all trim levels, it pairs best with black alloy wheels, like those on the hybrid model. It’s important to note that Still Night Pearl is a premium color, so this vibrant option has an additional cost.

Discontinued Colors in 2025
Colors come and go every model year, and the 2025 model year is no exception.
Lunar Silver Metallic, available on the Honda CR-V for the past few years, has been discontinued for 2025.
Its replacement, Solar Silver Metallic, may initially appear very similar to Lunar Silver Metallic. At first, I thought Honda was simply renaming the color, but I was mistaken.
While Solar Silver Metallic looks similar to Lunar Silver Metallic at a glance, there is a subtle difference when the two are placed side by side. The difference is confirmed by their distinct color codes: Solar Silver Metallic is NH-932M, while Lunar Silver Metallic is NH-830M.
